Reporting on the Conference
Vice-Chancellor's Postgraduate Research Student Conference Fund


It is a requirement that students who receive a grant through the Vice-Chancellor's Postgraduate Research Student Conference Fund provide a report on the conference.


THE AREAS FOR INCLUSION ARE:

  1. The original letter of "offer" from the University Graduate School.
  2. Name, place, location and date of conference.
  3. 500 word report to include:
    • report on the session at which the student presented, including an account of the student's presentation and the response to it, including input by persons in attendance;
    • the most useful session attended at the conference generally;
    • the people with whom the student discussed his/her work (other than session attendees);
    • benefits to the student in terms of (i) contacts established, and (ii) direct input to the research work.
  4. Copy of paper, abstract or other evidence of contribution by the student.
  5. Report to have signatures of Principal Supervisor, the Responsible Research Administrator/Manager (if applicable) and the Responsible Academic Officer.
  6. Report should be provided no later than two months after the Conference date.
